Hikes and Mountain Huts
The Biois Valley offers numerous opportunities for mountain walking and hiking enthusiasts: from strolls to reach alpine pastures and mountain huts to high-altitude shelters, from trails immersed in wild, unspoiled nature to simple and pleasant thematic routes.
To check trail accessibility in the Agordino area we recommend consulting the official CAI Agordo website.

Road Bike Mountain Bike
Throughout the valley there are various routes suitable for road bikes and mountain bikes. The cycle paths from Canale d'Agordo towards Falcade and Garés are not paved, therefore a mountain bike or e-bike is recommended. The upper hamlets of Carfon, Fregona and Feder can be reached from the town center via paved roads, while the trails towards Malga Stia and other high-altitude huts can be traveled by mountain bike or e-bike.
A trail map is available at our information offices, with some suitable for cycling.

Running
There are also several options for mountain running, from easier ones to more demanding uphill routes.
At our Pro Loco office you can get the map of trails and mountain running events.
We also recall that in 2023 Canale d'Agordo hosted the 16 Municipalities of Agordino Trophy.
Climbing
For climbing routes, both in summer and in winter, the Garés Valley offers some options. We always recommend contacting the Travelsport guide office for updated information on route conditions and possibilities in the upper Agordino area.
Skiroll
Another special feature of the Garés Valley is the long paved road (7 km) that leads from the town center towards the Pale di San Martino and the Comelle. Many enthusiasts practice this sport here in summer. Since it is not very busy, it represents a very attractive alternative option, so much so that several local and non-local sports groups have been training there regularly for years.
Swimming
All information regarding the Agordo swimming pool and the courses it offers is available on the Facebook page: Piscina-Palestra Comprensoriale Agordo
